Meet
Chris Nolan
Chris founded Launchpad Healthcare Recruiters in 2021 following 7 years in the International recruitment sector. He also has 16 years of sales, marketing, and leadership roles in healthcare working with:
- Medical Doctors – GP’s and several specialties
- Dentists
- Pharmacists
- Provincial Health Authorities
- National and Provincial regulators in medicine, pharmacy, and physiotherapy.
An active member of his community, Chris has coached basketball & soccer, and served on the boards of the Special Olympics of Nova Scotia, and the Canadian Cancer Society.
As a StFX grad and proud Maritimer, Chris doesn’t mind the odd gathering. He has occasionally been accused of liking outdated music. He can be found on weekends shuttling his 3 kids around, skiing, playing some hockey, walking his dog, and (eventually) travelling. He tends to enjoy the broad strokes over the details any day.
Food: Italian & sushi
Drink: Good coffee, most beer, sauvignon blanc
Music: Anything live, Springsteen, Petty, the Hip (I cried watching their documentary – didn’t realize how much I liked them until Gord passed – RIP), Dua Lipa, and the Lumineers. Saw Maroon 5 this past summer – unreal live show.
Movies/TV: Goodfellas (“get yer shinebox…”), True Romance (sooo many good actors in that), The Shawshank Redemption, Breaking Bad, and Ted Lasso.
Favorite Expression: “These are champagne problems…”
Secret facts: One of the last fans of “The Sweet Science”, particular about footwear, always last one on a plane.

Megan Hyndman
Megan joined Launchpad Healthcare Recruiters in October 2021 as a Healthcare Account Manager / Marketing Manager. She has 15 years of sales and marketing experience in the IT, Manufacturing and Food Service industries. She will be a consultant and an advocate for our clients to ensure that they find the right fit – whether it be a dream job for an associate or the ideal candidate for an employer.
Megan is originally from Antigonish, Nova Scotia and is also a StFX graduate where she met Chris and his better half Paula. She spent most of her post graduate years in Ottawa & Toronto before moving to Qatar where she became a Mom and took several years off to raise her young daughter. She moved back to Nova Scotia in 2017 and returned to the workforce in Halifax.
Megan loves to spend time with her family and friends and is also guilty of enjoying the odd Maritime gathering. She lives for the summer and beach/cottage time, traveling, cooking, and dining out.
Food: Thai, Indian and Italian
Drink: Dark roast coffee, cabernet sauvignon and vodka sodas
Music: Everything and anything except for hard core metal.

Dr. Kiran Atwal
Dr. Kiran Atwal joined the Launchpad team in August 2022 as Senior Dental Consultant. Dr. Atwal started her own dental office in 2011 and was in private dental practice for over 15 years. She understands the importance of having the right fit between a dental office and an associate dentist. Kiran is looking forward to assisting her dental colleagues overcome the challenges of finding associates to grow their dental practices.
Kiran is originally from the small town of St. Thomas, Ontario. After completing her undergraduate degree and dental school at the University of Western Ontario, she moved to Florida to complete a one year AEGD residency. Kiran is a breast cancer survivor and shares her story to help other professionals affected by cancer.
Outside of dentistry, Kiran’s primary focus is her 4 year old daughter and her husband. She loves taking her daughter to many different extra curriculars, allowing her to be exposed to many different activities and enjoying all that Toronto has to offer.
Food: Her Mom’s or sister-in-law’s homemade Indian cooking

Dr. Ellen Park
Dr. Ellen Park joined the Launchpad team in September 2022 as a Senior Dental Consultant. Dr. Park has been in private practice for over 15
years, having trained in Ontario, New York, and British Columbia. Dr. Park has been active in local and provincial organized dentistry in BC for many years, and has taught at the local university and study clubs in Vancouver for more than a decade. She is looking forward to connecting dentists and associates alike to find that just right fit.
Food: Anything topped with an egg
Drink: Americano all the way
